The NAPPAP Professionals are venturing out into the new horizons of the future of fine art marketing. Collective markets of handmade items on Etsy is one of the largest online marketers of everything handmade from fine art to fine jewlery to handbound books. Known for the high quality of its members work which has been sought out by designers such as Dior and major mainstream publications such as and Family Circle. NAPPAP always at the forefront, is bring its quality professionalism to this market place. Combining high end art with the future of online markets. Etsy had over $ 22 million in sales last month in a down economy in a non-sales month. One has to wonder for the handmade and exclusive markets of custom work if Etsy isn't making its mark on the best of both world. The future may be the come back of the small shop, from people who work around the world in non-traditional custom work, is paving the way to a recovery of the markets and at the same time showing the way back to our roots in a eco friendly manner. How could a buyer go wrong!

Napa Valley Museum Plein Air Exhibit

"NAPPAP professional members Mike Bagdonas were juried into the NAPA Valley Museums, "Northern Views" biennial plein air exhibition. This museum exhibition runs from May 4 to July 8, 2007, with the opening reception on Friday, May 4, 2007. This is Northern California's preeminent plein air museum exhibition. The works of approximately sixty of Northern California's finest plein air painters will make up the exhibition. This years jurors are Kenn Backhaus, Kevin MacPherson and the Director of the Irvine Museum: Jean Stern." An additional plein air show will take place simultaneously at the I. Wolk Gallery in St Helena, California with additional works from the same group of plein air artists.
