Debra Groesser's painting, "Laguna Cliffs II", was awarded an Judge's Honorable Mention for Artistic Excellence in the Salon International 2009 Juried Exhibition, at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, Texas. NAPPAP member Jill Carver also won an honorable mention for her painting, "Barn Huddle." Other members juried into the exhibit are Kaye Franklin, Greg LaRock and Jeanne Mackenzie. Debra's painting, "Laguna Cliffs II", has been accepted into the Salon International 2009 Juried Exhibition which will be held at Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio Texas from April 11th through May 1st, 2009. Other NAPPAP members whose work will appear in the show are Jill Carver, Kaye Franklin, Greg LaRock and Jeanne Mackenzie.

The following NAPPAP member artists are participating in the Plein Air Easton:

The plein air event will run from July 22 until July 29. There will be an artist registration and reception Sunday evening, July 22. Artists may paint anywhere in Talbot County July 23rd and 24th, and anywhere in the limits of the town of Easton July 25th and 26th. Possible scenes include village streets, historic structures, industrial areas, pastoral vistas and marine subjects. Artists must turn in two completed, framed and ready to be hung artworks. Any two-dimensional medium is acceptable, but work must be done “en plein air” without the assistance of photography.
