Jeanne Mackenzie I am excited to join this great group of artists to paint the wonderful Grand Canyon. My painting, Timeless Grand (oil,15x24) will join my plein air 'sketches' at the Kolb Studio Exhibition starting September 21. The paint week will be September 15-21, 2010.

Exhibition Opens at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, Texas, on April 10th at 10AM with a "Meet the Artists" Reception from 5 - 8PM that evening.

~ Invited Speaker - - Jeanne has been invited to be a featured speaker at the Artist Development Seminar, March 6, 2010 in Cheyenne, WY. It is sponsoring by the Old West Museum in conjunction with the Western Spirit Art Show.
~ Invited Artist- Grand Canyon Plein Air Sept. 11- Sept 18, 2010 The Grand Canyon Association is pleased to announce the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. This event features thirty artists in the Plein Air on the Rim competition and show. The proceeds from this event will be dedicated toward the goal of funding an art museum on the South Rim that will preserve and showcase the spectacular collection of historic and contemporary paintings owned by Grand Canyon National Park and the Grand Canyon Association, creating a permanent art venue at the South Rim and will help to ensure that future generations of Park visitors will be able to experience Grand Canyon art at its finest.
~ Show Invitation Salon International Invitational – April 9, 2010..Greenhouse Gallery, San Antonio, TX. This years juror will be Everett Raymond Kinstler. Last year received a Jurors Award from Daniel Greene.

Debra Groesser's painting, "Laguna Cliffs II", was awarded an Judge's Honorable Mention for Artistic Excellence in the Salon International 2009 Juried Exhibition, at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, Texas. NAPPAP member Jill Carver also won an honorable mention for her painting, "Barn Huddle." Other members juried into the exhibit are Kaye Franklin, Greg LaRock and Jeanne Mackenzie. Jeanne MacKenzie will be teaching as well. "The Fraser Valley for an incredible week of fine art, featuring the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters National Show and Paint Out. You’ll see paintings created right before your eyes in the natural outdoor setting of Grand County, Colorado. Sixty-seven renowned artists from across the country will create more than 200 paintings over the week, culminating in a nationally judged show and auction."
