Catalogue # 60 Shadow Ballet , 25.5 x 35.5   (outside dimension with frame) studio oil on linen   $3600
I received my BA in Fine Art from Fort Lewis College, graduating Cum Laude and in the top 10% of my class in 1974, and have been painting professionally ever since.More Recently I have shown my work at The National Arts Club in New York City, had a one man show at The Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas, and had one my paintings included in the book "Plein Air New Mexico, Volume One of the Jack Richeson Fine Art Series". My work is also in the collections of The Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas, The Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona, and San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico.

This studio painting was done from field studies and a photograph I took several years ago during the monsoon season at south rim of the Grand Canyon. The cloud shadows were dancing in and out of the canyon spires, revealing and obscuring, in a most entertaining and hypnotic manner.
