He graduated from the prestigious Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles and has won numnerous awards over the years. He is a signature member of the Oil Painters of America, Plein Air Painters of America, California Art Club and The Northwest Rendezvous Group. He has had three shows in the Frye Art Museum in Seattle. He was recently honored with a one man show in the 2008 American Society of Marine Artists in Coos Bay, Oregon. He teaches workshops around the country and overseas. I have been going to Mexico and particularly the Oaxaca area on and off for about 35 years. I love the people, the markets and the beautiful countryside. This scene is from the weekly Saturday market where the Indians come in from all around the area.
