Originally from England, she moved to Texas in 2002 and was quick to establish herself as a full-time artist. Recent awards include: 'Best in Show' at Estes Park Plein Air 2007;'Judge's Honorable Mention' at the Greenhouse Gallery's Salon Show 2007; Best of Show, Outdoor Painters Society, 2008; 2nd Place Artists Choice Award at Telluride Plein Air 2008. In addition, the Academy Art Museum in Easton, Maryland purchased one of her paintings from 'Plein Air Easton 2007' for their permanent collection. This is a studio piece I produced from sketches and small oil color studies executed during a painting trip to Utah.
